Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Ponoka, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work to be undertaken is generally described as: All-Wheel Park in the Town of Ponoka. Detailed breakdown is provided in sect. 00 41 00 Tender Form. An approximate breakdown of the works included in contract are as follows: Removals Contractor is to prep the site including but not limited to: asphalt removal, granular base removal (and salvage), fence removal, concrete removals, curb & gutter removals, and stormwater infrastructure removals. Storm Water Management Contractor is to supply & install replacement for existing frame and cover, supply & install new catch basin c/w frame & grate, 100mm catch basin leads, catch basin lead insulation, and drain covers. Curbs, Gutters, Walks & Slabs Contractor is to supply & install 150mm curb and gutter, standard monolithic walk c/w 150mm curb and 250mm gutter, concrete curb ramps, and 120mm concrete slabs. Roadways Contractor is to supply & install asphalt roadway adjacent to curb & gutter works. Subgrade Preparation Following Surface removals, contractor is to prepare rough grade using salvaged & supplied import material, and prepare finished grade using supplied imported material. Park Concrete Contractor is to supply & install 150mm concrete slabs, 150mm shotcrete slabs, and varying dimension concrete boxes, ledges, and stairs. Park Steel Contractor is to supply & install round coping, flat bar coping, and varying dimension grind rails. Landscaping Contractor is to grade surrounding areas of the park according to grading plan, and supply & install 150mm topsoil, sod/seed, and trees. Site Furniture Contractor is to supply & install site furniture including benches, receptacle, and fencing. Warranty & Maintenance Contractor shall provide warranty & maintenance on all plant material for a 2 year period following substantial completion.
