Renovation of a water / sewer project in Port St Joe, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing materials for the: Jones Homestead Booster Station Automatic Transfer Switch. The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, Gulf County, Florida (the "BOCC" and/or "County") is seeking solicitations from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing a 350kw diesel generator. This project includes the purchase of an Automatic Transfer Switch for a new booster station in Gulf County, FL. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All questions must be submitted to Clay Smallwood, P.E. at csmallwood@gulfcounty-fl.gov. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Gulf County. This contract will be paid for in whole or in part with Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery funding (CDBG-DR) from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity ("DEO") for activities authorized under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and as described in the 2020 State of Florida Action Plan for Disaster Recovery. As such this contract is subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Subrecipient Agreement M0020 between DEO and the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, 45 CFR Part 75, 29 CFR Part 95, 2 CFR Part 200 (including Appendix II to Part 200), 20 CFR Part 601, 24 CFR Part 570 subpart I, et seq., and all other State and Federal laws, rules, regulations, and policies governing the funds provided through the Subrecipient Agreement, as now in effect and as may be amended from time to time. The Subrecipient Agreement allocates total funding of $7,062,869.00 (100%) for this project, which includes $7,012,869.00 (99.29%) in CDBG-DR funds and $50,000.00 (0.71%) in non-federal Funding. Minority and women's business enterprises are hereby solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises. The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The selected firm will be given written notification of being selected by the County. The County will negotiate and execute a contract with the selected firm prior to the beginning of the actual services. 1. The bid price shall include delivery to the project site at 641 Jones Homestead Road, Port St. Joe, FL 32456. 2. This bid includes the purchase of an Automatic Transfer Switch as described further in the Technical Specifications. 3. Bidders shall include an estimated delivery date in the bid response. 4. Bidder shall include the following information in the bid response: a. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) b.
