Reference Number 0000270234 The Work of this Contract, consists of the labour, design, supply, manufacturing, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of 208/120V switchboards, and associated services including production of shop drawings, as-built drawings, instruction manuals, Protection Coordination Study, Short Circuit Analysis, Arc-Flash incident energy analysis, training and warranty at the following subway stations: Wilson Station, Dupont Station, Spadina (YUS) Station and Spadina (BD) Station. The Work of This Contract, Designated J35-14 - Early Works, Conversion of Srt Row to Busway Consists of: the Supply of Labour, Equipment, and Materials to Remove All Existing Tracks Assemblies Including Rail and Wayside Equipment and Any Related Electrical Components Along the Existing Srt Right of Way Between Kennedy Station to Ellesmere Station, as Outlined in the Contract Documents. The Work Under This Early Works Contract Will Facilitate the Subsequent Conversion of the Existing at-grade Portion of the Alignment of the Scarborough Rapid Transit (Srt) Right-of-way (Row) to a Dedicated Busway Between Kennedy Station to Ellesmere Station. The Scope of Work Includes, but is Not Limited to: Remove and Recycle/ Dispose of Existing Srt Rail and Wayside Equipment: Remove and Recycle/ Dispose of All Existing Track Assembly and Associated Rail and Wayside Equipment of the Srt Corridor Between Kennedy Service Road and Ellesmere Station - Track Assembly Constituted of Direct Fixated Tracks, Reaction Rails and Power Rails, While Maintaining the Existing Concrete Slab to Be Used as a Base for the New Busway Pavement Structure. Remove Electrical and Communication Cables Along Running Rail and Reaction Rail Between Kennedy and Ellesmere Station, as Indicated on Contract Documents. Removal of Track and Associated Cables to Start After Completing the Relocation and Protection of Existing Fibre Optic Cable Along West Cable Rack. Cut Rail Steel Anchor Bolts Flush With Top of Rail Grout Pads. Transport Removed Track and Rail Material, and Perform All Work to Facilitate Transportation Within and Outside the Srt Row, Including Access Roads, Fence Removal and Replacement. Protect Existing Fibre Optic Cable Along West Cable Rack, as Indicated in Contract Documents. Supply and Use Rail Work Cars and/or Flatbed Trucks as Required for Transportation of Removed Material Off-site.
