The City of Davenport, Iowa is accepting bids from qualified vendors for the CY 2024 City Sidewalk Program. This sidewalk program will be used to repair sidewalks adjacent to city facilities and parks. The program is budgeted for $80,000 worth of work in the construction season year, May 20, 2024 - November 27, 2024. Question Deadline 05/24/2024 at 11:00 AM CT Scope of Work and Scheduling The quantities herein represent the Project Manager’s estimate of the amount of work to be completed. They will not necessarily be matched with those quantities of the final actual work done. The program is budgeted for $80,000 worth of work in the construction season year, May 20, 2024 – November 27, 2024. The contractor shall begin construction within 10 days after the pre-construction meeting or the date specified in the Notice to Proceed, whichever comes first, and complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment before the end of November. For sidewalk areas assigned within this time period, liquidated damages in the amount of $200 per day will be paid to the City for each day that the work is not completed beyond November 27
