Site work and paving for a civil project in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Furnishing and installing about 360 linear feet of 6-inch diameter ductile iron water main and appurtenances, service connections including curb stops and corporation taps, and pavement restoration. The construction cost is estimated to be $100,000. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check, bid bond, or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the value of the Bid. Successful bidder must furnish separate one hundred percent (100%) construction performance bond and one hundred percent (100%) construction payment bond with a Surety company acceptable to the Owner. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of Contractor, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this Contract. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all general bids if it is in the public interest to do so. Question Deadline 05/31/2024
