Walker Pond Outlet Control and Headwall Deadline for Questions May 28, 2024 @ 5:00pm Questions may be submitted in one of the following ways: 1. Emailed to both the Town Engineer, tryder@ needhamma.gov and dpwadmin@ needhamma.gov 2. Mailed to the Town Engineer, 500 Dedham Avenue, Needham, MA 02492 3. Faxed to the Town Engineer at 781-449-9023 A. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the construction of approximately: Removal of the existing outlet control structure and installation of a new outlet control structure on the southwest side of Walker Pond adjacent to Central Avenue, Installation of temporary sheeting and dewatering needed to install the new outlet control structure in dry conditions. Bypass of existing outlet control structure. Tree removal, plantings and general site work according to the contract plans. Cut and remove approximately 50' of existing 42" pipe to install new structures. Installation of approximately 50' 48" RCP pipe. Installation of 8' diameter drain manhole. Remove and dispose of flared end drain outlet on the southeast side of Walker Pond. Installation of sediment trap and headwall. All as more particularly indicated, shown or described in the Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents.
