Question Deadline 05/16/2024 at 12:00 PM CT This project consists of security enhancements for the Justice of the Peace reception areas at five (5) separate locations. At each location, the existing transaction area casework and walls are to be removed and replaced with UL 752 Level 3 rated ballistic protection. This includes drywall assemblies, casework, doors, glazing, and transaction trays. The five (5) locations include Sub courthouse in Arlington, Sub courthouse in Mansfield, Miller Avenue Administration, Northeast Courthouse, and J.D. Johnson Northwest Sub courthouse. Locations: Northeast Courthouse, 645 Grapevine Hwy, Hurst, TX 76054. BID BOND There is NO bid bond required on this project. POWER OF ATTORNEY Attorney-in-fact who signs bids or contract bonds must file with each bond a certified and current copy of the power of attorney. PAYMENT BOND For a contract exceeding $25,000, a payment bond shall be executed in the amount of the contract solely for the protection of all claimants supplying labor or furnishing the material used on this project. PERFORMANCE BOND For a contract exceeding $100,000, a performance bond shall be executed in the amount of the contract upon the faithful performance of the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. This bond shall be solely for the protection of Tarrant County. The cost for bond premiums must be included in the bid price as a separate line item.
