Project Scope The NCCS envisions the following minimum scope of services for the Replacement Carpet within the select classrooms at Hoover High School: 1) Math/Science Workroom; 2) English/Social Studies Workroom, 3) World Languages Workroom, 4) Video productions at Hoover High School Specific Carpet requested for quote: Shaw Carpet tile, adhesive and freight: Products-Commons,5T323, 24"x24", Steel #23505 The following submission guidelines & requirements apply to this Request for Proposal: First and foremost, only qualified individuals or firms with prior experience on projects such as this should submit proposals in response to this Request for Proposal. If you have a standard set of terms and conditions, please submit them with your proposal. All terms and conditions will be subject to negotiation. Proposals must remain valid for a period of 30 days. The NCCS reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Please request a confirmation email that it arrived. Bidders may hand deliver bid and/or be present for bid opening at the District Office located at Door 25 of Hoover HS. There is a parking lot at door 25 on the northwest side off 10th ST NE. Provide estimates in accordance to the (RFP). All carpet should be tile, not broadloom. Please provide an additional 5% of total job or more attic stock to be left with Hoover HS at the completion of the project. Place all necessary material orders and schedule and arrange delivery. North Canton City Schools is willing to store carpet and supplies in a locked room beginning Friday, May 31, 2024. Removal and proper disposal of all existing carpet and related project materials and wastes in accordance to all state and federal laws. Carpet removal and installation shall be completed between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The North Canton City Schools shall: Move all furniture and equipment to accommodate removal and installation of flooring. Disconnect and move any electrical or computer connections. Hoover HS will provide an 8 yard dumpster to allow carpet contractors to use for disposing of old carpet.
