Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Columbia, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Howard County intends to procure the services of one construction firm to perform construction of Phase 6 of a regional park. The projects may include, but are not limited to, (2) basketball courts and (6) pickleball courts, artificial turf, asphalt and pervious paver parking lot, concrete sidewalks, asphalt trails, water extension, drainage features, stormwater management features, lighting, site furnishings, fencing, and landscaping. The construction firm will be required to coordinate with the Skate Park contractor for grading and excavation, site access, schedule coordination, and other items typically expected during construction. Other Details This project is in SHA Cost Group "E". Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy of a bid bond OR certified check, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, made payable to the "Director of Finance, Howard County". For a certified check, the Contractor shall submit the original certified check to the Office of Procurement and Contract Administration PRIOR to the bid due date and time to be deemed responsive.
