Project-Based Vouchers for New Construction Downtown Columbia Mixed-Use Projects It is the intent of the Howard County Housing Commission (the "Commission") to allocate up to 16 Housing Choice vouchers (the "Vouchers") from its Voucher Program allocation to one or more mixed-use, shovel-ready projects located in or around Downtown Columbia, Howard County, Maryland. Accordingly, the Commission seeks proposals from highly qualified developers and property owners interested in securing these Vouchers. The commission reserves the right to issue the vouchers to more than one project based on the responses to this RFP. Question Deadline 06/13/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions concerning this RFP must be made in writing and e-mailed to questions@househoward.org. Answers to questions and any addenda/amendments to the RFP will be posted by June 17, 2024 on the Commission's website The Commission reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to: (1) reject all proposals; (2) select a winning proposal and, if terms cannot be agreed to, select another proposal (this process may be repeated); (3) select more than one proposal; or (4) proceed in any manner that is advantageous to the Commission.
