Renovation of a residential development in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Bids will be received for the following Contract: Whitpain Township 2024 Manor House Building Roof Replacement The contract involves the following: 1. Select demolition of existing single layer single roof 2. Select cutting and patching of existing roof ventilation 3. Supply and installation of 30-year Architectural Shingles 4. Debris removal and site clean-up 5. Supply & Install Aluminum Fascia Capping 6. Supply & Install 6" Aluminum "K" Gutters & Downspouts The following contract items are an Add. Alternate to the base bid: 1. Roof Sheathing repairs (Unit Price) All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Whitpain Township in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. Whitpain Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
