CONTRACTOR will apply specific herbicides on roadside areas to control weeds and/or inhibit growth and seed head formation of weeds, particularly johnsongrass, in order to reduce mowing and trimming requirements while allowing for bermudagrass release. There are approximately 600 miles of paved/gravel roads to be treated on both sides. The spray area from edge of pavement t: end of road right-of way will vary but maximum is 15 feet. It will be required that you obtain and show proof of payment/performance bond or bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract sum before a purchase order can be generated.
