Reference Number cb-761-45871226 Parks Canada Agency requires a contractor to maintain the electrical infrastructure at five snow sheds located on the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) in Glacier National Park between Revelstoke and Golden. The electrical infrastructure consists of power, lighting, and control systems dedicated to keeping the snow-shed lighting systems operational. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods from November 1, 2026 to October 31, 2027 inclusive and November 1, 2027 to October 31, 2028 inclusive under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
