The Town of Atoka invites sealed proposals from qualified companies to remove current fencing, replace fencing, and install additional fencing needed on a (4) field softball complex including adding (2) additional batting cages located at Nancy Lane Park in conformity with the specifications detailed in the Bid Documents. All bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of construction described herein and as required by Tennessee Code Annotated. The Town of Atoka is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. The Town encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit qualifications. Owner Rights: The Town of Atoka reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, in whole or in part, and/or all proposals, and to award the bid in any manner deemed to be in the interest of the Town. Bond Notes: Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bidder's proposed bid must accompany the bid. The Bid Bond is to remain in effect until (and will be returned only after) the contract has been fully executed and secured. This can be obtained by your insurance company. The successful bidder shall execute a performance and payment bond in the amount of the contract award. The bond shall be subject to the approval of the Town of Atoka. be answered. a. This project includes the take down and removal of current fencing of all (4)
fields, (2) batting cages, front entrance fencing, and (1) side of the playground
fencing.
b. This project includes the supply and installation of the necessary fencing around
(4) softball fields, (4) batting cages, (4) outside fencing with gates to secure the
facility, (1) front entrance area, and (1) side on the playground fencing.
c. This project will include backstops, line fencing, homerun fencing, and gates.
d. This project will include adding (2) concrete pads.
e. The project location is Nancy Lane Park located at 118 Atoka Parks Avenue,
Atoka Tennessee 38004.
f. The Vendor is welcomed to come looked at the current facility and the location of
where the existing fencing is.
