The project will consist of replacement and upgrades to the locking mechanisms on specified doors in Buildings 10, 20, 23, 30, 31, 32A, 32B, 34, 41, and 60 at Grossmont College, and Buildings D, E, F, I, and K at Cuyamaca College. The modifications include hardware replacement, software, engineering, installation, licensing, and programming. Classroom door hardware will be upgraded and modified. Classrooms without Access Control will be upgraded with thumb turn hardware. Modifications to classrooms with Access Controls will be modified to include a switch that will be installed on the wall next to door to bypass the access controls device. Restrooms with automatic operating features will also be upgraded.
