Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Flemington, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% (Ten Percent) of the total bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 payable to the County of Hunterdon. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any minor informality in the Proposal received and to accept bids all in accordance with applicable law. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. If you are an interested contractor and wish to be listed as a bidder, please notify our editorial staff at addtobidlist@constructconnect.com. If the Bidder has questions about or objections to the plans, specifications, contract requirements, form of contract or bonds, or insurance requirements, the County requests that questions be submitted to the Purchasing Agent in writing at least seven (7) business days prior to the date for acceptance of bids, so that the County may have adequate time to address the bidders concern. Bidders shall submit, in writing, all questions regarding the bidding process or the Bid Documents to Raymond E. Rule, Jr., Hunterdon County Purchasing Agent, 71 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Purchasing Department, P.O. Box 2900, Flemington, New Jersey 08822-2900 The work to be performed under this contract consists of the preparation and the Painting of County Bridges D481, L-30, L-36, R-19, R-20, T-84, and U-1. Maps, Traffic Control Plans and Quantities are included in the appendices. In accordance with Section 108.10 of the Standard Specifications, the dates of Substantial Completion and completion and readiness for final payment are 150 Calendar Days.
