Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mercer Island, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Engineers Estimated Cost: $850,000 to $1,050,000 There will be no public bid opening for this project. Bid results will be posted online. Question: Bidder questions are to be directed to Ian Powell, Street Engineer, by email only at ian.powell@mercerisland.gov. The City will receive questions until 2:00 PM on May 24, 2024. Questions received after this date will not be answered. All questions and responses will be posted in an addendum by May 28, 2024 to online. Work, to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for asphalt overlay of approximately 0.4 miles of North Mercer Way, and approximately 0.3 miles of residential streets consisting of: temporary traffic control, pavement repairs, asphalt planning, full width and full depth asphalt pavement removal, hot mix asphalt paving, shoulder restoration, utility adjustments, and pavement markings. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities. A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid total price must accompany each bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
