Site work and paving for a civil project in Mercer Island, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, replacement of approximately 5,100 LF of AC water main with ductile iron (DI) water main, appurtenances varying in size from 4 to 12 inches, 9 fire hydrant assemblies, 98 water services, 5 connections to existing water mains, and concrete driveway and HMA road restorations. This will involve temporary erosion/water pollution control, property restoration, and other miscellaneous items. The work also includes removal of approximately 100 LF of asbestos pipe. Question Deadline 06/20/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Bidder questions are to be directed to George Fletcher, CIP Project Manager, by email only at george.fletcher@mercerisland.gov. Questions received after this date will not be answered. All questions and responses will be posted in an addendum by June 24, 2024, to the electronically. A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid total price must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities. Engineers Estimated Cost: $3,011,000 - $3,847,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
