Site work for a road / highway in Hampton, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Town of Hampton, NH (hereinafter "Town"), acting through its Town Manager for the Hampton Department of Public Works (DPW), in accordance with the provisions of New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated Chapter 37, Section 6 and the provisions of the Town's Purchasing Policy and Purchasing Procedures Chapter 718 of the Hampton Code of Ordinances requests sealed written bid proposals from qualified Contractors for Line Striping and Pavement Markings as needed for the Town in calendar years 2024 and 2025. All inquiries regarding the bid document, bid procedure, and any technical aspect may be directed to Chris McGinnis, Highway Foreman at (603) 929-5927 weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., or by e-mail cmcginnis@hamptonnh.gov DURATION The duration of the contract will be from the award of the bid to October 28, 2024. SCOPE OF WORK The work shall consist of furnishing and placing white or yellow pavement markings, center and edge lines and other markings in locations as directed. All materials, equipment and labor shall be furnished by the Contractor to complete the job as specified. A. Line Striping Inventory: Town of Hampton Line Marking Inventory: Includes approximately 240,000 linear feet 4 inch yellow and approximately 180,000 linear feet 4-inch white (Attachment A) B. Pavement Markings Inventory: Town of Hampton Road Marking Inventory including crosswalks, stop bars, line work greater than 4-inch, parking stalls, and various word and symbol stencils as indicated (Attachment B). SCHEDULE OF WORK Upon the execution of the contract, the Contractor shall coordinate the scheduling of all work with the DPW Director or designee. At minimum, DPW will be given one (1) week notice prior to commencement of any work. It is understood that weather or other unforeseen conditions may delay the work. In such cases, the Contractor will work with the Town to schedule a mutually acceptable start date and completion date. Any work outside of the prescribed hours must be coordinated and approved, in advance, by the DPW Director or designee. The Town of Hampton is looking to complete the striping for 2024 as soon as possible. All 2024 work performed must be completed by August 2, 2024, weather depending.
