All work to be in accordance with the specifications and plans. Prevailing wages are required on this project. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in the Bid Document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project at 9:00 a.m. on July 9th, 2024 at its regular meeting at the Administration Center, 1590 Hwy 55, Hastings, MN. and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. General Scope: The attached specifications Exhibit "A" provide a minimum acceptable standard required by the Owner. Base Bid is for all work referenced in the Bid Documents. B. Work included: Provide all labor, materials, articles, equipment, incidentals, items, tools, services, methods, operations, skills in such quantities as may be necessary to complete the project within intent of the Contract Documents. C. All work shall be completed in compliance with the latest edition of the prevailing fire prevention and building codes in effect in the State of Minnesota at the specified site. Manufacturer's specifications and instructions for specified products or approved equals become part of these specifications and all such instructions are to be followed accordingly
