This schedule is subject to change by the City Project Description: The City of Waco is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide transportation services for municipal solid waste from the new Waco Transfer Station to the new Waco Landfill MSW 2400, with the possibility of using an alternate landfill location for operational reasons. The scope includes hauling waste from the Transfer Station to a licensed disposal facility, ensuring the waste is transported and unloaded at the landfill's designated area, and performing all related services as outlined in the proposal request. The contractor will be responsible for providing the necessary equipment, labor, and supplies for the transportation process. The successful contractor will handle municipal solid waste, including Class 2 and 3 industrial nonhazardous waste and certain special wastes, ensuring compliance with all regulations and avoiding prohibited wastes. They must also maintain high safety and environmental standards, provide adequate staffing and equipment, and coordinate effectively with City representatives. The contract term is for a modified two-year period with options for one-year renewals, subject to the City's approval. The proposal evaluation will consider factors such as firm experience, technical and cost proposals, past performance, safety record, and current workload.
