As of September 23 2025, this project is in construction. Work consisting of alterations to a county road facility, grading, base, drainage structures, and surfacing. Bond Notes: Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. Liquidity Damages: Bidder accepts the provisions of the Agreement as to liquidated damages of $500 per day in the event of failure to complete the Work within the times specified in the Agreement. Owner Rights: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this bid or contract and contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminate if Contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof If this Bid is accepted, Bidder agrees that the Work will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 120 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
