Site work and paving for a civil project in Richmond Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project includes providing all equipment, labor, and material for the reconstruction of an eroded streambank along Mill Road along the bank of Furnace Creek, the underpinning of scoured footers, the reconstruction of the roadway over the Reider Road Culvert along with any work needed to complete these work items. The work involved includes tree removal, placement of Rip Rap (R7), shoulder reconstruction, forming and pouring Class A concrete, the installation and/ or resetting of guiderail, grading and placement of subbase and asphalt materials, and all other items incidental to that work. The Board of Supervisors will consider awarding a contract at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount equal to ten percent(10%) of the total amount of the proposal, payable to the Oley Township. Proposals shall be effective for ninety(90) days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the proposal, a payment bond or certified check in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%)of the total amount of the proposal, a workmen's compensation affidavit and a certificate of insurance naming Oley Township and LTL Consultants, Ltd. as additional insureds, all within twenty(10) days after the contract is awarded. Project must be completed by September 30, 2024. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $250.00 per calendar day. Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing addressed to LTL Consultants, Ltd., P. O. Box 241, Oley, PA 19547 and to be given consideration shall be received at least five (5) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Proposals must be made upon the forms furnished by the municipality. The municipality reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, and to reject any or all bids or portions thereof. Proposals must include the Public Works Employment Verification Form completed by the Bidder.
