Renovation of a laboratory facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The work consists of removal and replacement of the existing low-slope roofing assembly, including flashing at roof and overflow drains. New traffic coating and flashing installation within the two large rooftop penthouses as well as limited flashing repairs to the lobby gutter and the penthouse exhaust tieback anchors. Structural repairs (interior) to existing mechanical enclosures (including rooftop penthouses) and exhaust tieback anchors. Removal of existing mechanical equipment with associated electrical work, removal and replacement of all roof and overflow drains. Abatement work. The estimated construction cost is between $4 million and $6 million. The estimated value of the public works contract is $250,000 or more and the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply. To be eligible to submit a Bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawai'i Contractor's license classification (s) B. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
