Renovation of a water / sewer project in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of St. Peters is seeking for the rehabilitation of alluvial Supply Well 9A. Upon receipt of written notice of the acceptance of this bid, bidder will execute the formal contract attached within ten (10) calendar days and deliver a surety bond or bonds as required. The bid security attached in the sum of five percent (5%) ($ ) is to become the property of the OWNER in the event the contract and bonds are not executed within the time set forth above, as liquidated damages for the delay and additional expense to the OWNER caused thereby. Payment Bond/Performance Bond will be required for any single award of $50,000.00 or over. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or after a date to be specified in a written "NOTICE TO PROCEED" of the owner and to fully complete the project within Sixty (60) calendar days, as stipulated in the specifications. Liquidated damages of $500.00 a day will apply Prevailing Wage Rates will be required for any for any public works project for which either the engineer's estimate or the bid accepted by the public body for the TOTAL PROJECT COST exceeds seventy-five thousand dollars $75,000.00. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept the bid most advantageous to the City.
