Cambridge Park Courts, which includes asphalt pavement and fence removal, CA-6 stone installation and compaction, asphalt court surface installation, striping and color coating, chain link fencing and gates, basketball standards, tennis net posts with nets, tennis backboard, and turf restoration. The Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive technicalities and select a bid that meets the specifications required by the Park District, as well as to increase, decrease or delete any line item shown within the Bid Form. Contracts, if awarded, will be approved on June 19th, 2024 and construction will be expected to commence within 30 days after subsequent Pre-Construction meeting (to be held prior to July 19th.) All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring the payment of prevailing wages to all laborers, workers and mechanics, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, and the record keeping, submission and inspection requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including the requirement for submission of certified payroll records. All bidders must also comply with the Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including equal employment opportunity laws. The Park District encourages women and minority business firms to submit bids and encourages bidders to utilize minority businesses for supplies, equipment and services.
