The Town of Amherst, as Awarding Authority, invites Sealed Bids for the procurement of liquid sludge hauling and disposal from the Town's wastewater treatment plant at 100 Mullins Way in Hadley, Massachusetts. Contractor shall furnish all labor and equipment necessary to receive pumped thickened sludge from facility holding tanks into a tanker truck for transport to a licensed facility for disposal. The Town will award one (1) contract for one (1) year, with one (1) optional one-year (1yr) renewal. Question Deadline 05/30/2024 Questions and inquiries will be accepted from any and all bidders and must be in writing. Questions will be answered in writing and both questions and answers will be distributed to all bidders who receive the IFB provided, however, that all questions are received at least seven (7) days in advance of the bidding deadline.
