Site work for a service station / car wash facility in Valley Center, California. Completed plans call for site work for a service station / car wash facility.

Location: Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District - Maintenance office: 28751 Cole Grade Rd. Valley Center, CA 92082. Each bid must be submitted with a bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract, if awarded to the bidder, and will provide the payment bond, insurance certificates and other documents described in the Contract Documents. Such security must be in one of the following forms: (1) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (2) a certified check made payable to the District; or (3) a bond made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) pf the project(s) total. The forms of the bonds are set forth in the Contract Documents and all bonds must be issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. The awarded bidder will also need to provide a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project total before the work begins. PREVAILING WAGES: Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted, nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor's and subcontractors current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder, and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidders sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. Wage rates can be found at the California Department of Industrial Relations Each bid shall be accompanied by: (a) certified check made payable to the District; (b) a cashier's check made payable to the District; or (c) a bid bond payable to the District executed by the bidder as principal and surety as obligor in an amount not less than 10% of the maximum amount of the bid. Personal sureties and unregistered surety companies are unacceptable. The surety insurer shall be California admitted surety insurer, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. The cash, check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the Contract if it be awarded to the bidder, shall provide the payment bond and insurance certificates and endorsements as required herein within ten (10) calendar days after notification of the award of the Contract to the bidder. Failure to provide the required documents may result in forfeiture of the bidder's bid deposit or bond to the District and the District may award the Contract to the next lowest responsible bidder, or may call for new bids.
