As of August 6, 2024, project has been awarded to Intellicom, Inc., with an awarded amount of $47,458.96. The Town of Fuquay-Varina is soliciting proposals for the installation of structured cable in our new Community Center North Location. No proposals will be accepted after the official time and date. Facsimile submissions will not be accepted. All questions pertaining to this RFP shall be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 PM, Thursday, June 6, 2024, and will be answered by 6:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2024. Questions and answers will be published as an addendum on the Town website. Questions may be emailed to: purchasing@fuquay-varina.org. The Town of Fuquay-Varina is soliciting Proposal for the installation of Structure Cable at the building located at Town of Fuquay-Varina Community Center North located at 4525 Hilltop Need more Rd., Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Each Proposer must thoroughly examine the RFP to ensure that the vendor can meet all requirements. Proposals shall be submitted on the forms included within the RFP documents. Proposals shall be signed by the person or persons legally authorized to bind the Proposer to a contract. Proposals that are not signed will be rejected. A proposal by a corporation shall further give the state of incorporation and have the corporate seal affixed. Failure to submit a proposal with all RFP requirements may be considered sufficient cause for rejection of the Proposal. Any interlineations, alterations or erasures must be initialized by the signer of the Proposer. Proposals shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after proposals are due. Proposers will have an opportunity to speak with Town staff and be given the Proposer. Most questions and clarifications to the RFP will be addressed at this meeting. Any questions not answered will be answered and issued in the form of an addendum. Failure to attend the pre-proposal conference is grounds for rejection of the proposal. No oral interpretations will be made as to the meaning of the Contract Documents. Interpretation, if deemed necessary, will be in the form of a written Addendum. E-mail messages will be treated as written questions. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Town of Fuquay Varina, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Proposers shall provide certification that performance and payment bond sureties are licensed in North Carolina. Alternate equivalent sureties will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. The Project Work (shall including material ordering) required shall be commenced by Contractor not later than fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of the execution of this Contract and issuance of the Notice to Proceed, and the entire Contract Work (shall including material ordering) shall be no later than one hundred eighty (180) calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed.
