The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for maintenance of eight roads in the Milligan's Cove area on State Game Lands (SGL) #48. The scope of the project includes making drainage improvements, road surface preparation, installation of geotextile and geogrid and roadway construction with base material and #2A coarse aggregate A bid guarantee or bond is not required. Owner Rights: The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and all bidders will be advised of the bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order. CONTRACT TERM :The Contract shall commence upon delivery of Purchase Order to Contractor (estimated to be July 8, 2024) and shall terminate on September 27, 2024. Contract time is of the essence of the Project. All Work must be completed and accepted by this date. Bond Notes: PERFORMANCE SECURITY/CONTRACT BONDS - Within 10 days after award of the purchase order, the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded, shall provide Contract Performance Security and a Payment Bond in a form acceptable to the Commonwealth for the amounts listed below and in accordance with the Contract Terms and Conditions. A Performance Bond at one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and conditions of the contract.
