The City of Topeka is seeking bids to purchase an underground utility locator device to be used to locate and map the position and path of existing underground utility cables to create as built/survey records of buried cables and pipes. Question Deadline 05/24/2024 at 12:30 PM CT The City of Topeka is seeking bids to purchase an underground utility locator (device) to be used by the city's traffic operations division for locating data cabling in order to collect and store information for the city's technical support group, geographic information systems unit. The device will allow for locating and mapping the position and path of existing underground utility cables to create as built and survey records of buried cables and pipes. The awarded vendor will be expected to enter into a contract with the City of Topeka that provides the City with the option to purchase additional underground utility locators and carrying cases at the bid price for a period ending November 30, 2024.
