DOC - CBCC - Outside Warehouse Roof Replacement - Department of Corrections - Scope of Alterations work is as indicated on drawings and specifications. In general, the scope includes: Complete tear off of existing membrane roofing system down to the existing roof deck, including all associated sheet metal flashings and copings. Properly clean and prep existing roof deck. Provide and install new code compliant singleply fully adhered membrane roofing system including new rigid insulation and vapor retarder. Provide new sheet metal flashings, copings and reglets as indicated on project documents. Replace rooftop skylight units. Install new horizontal cable lifeline fall restraint system. - demolish existing built-up roofing system, including membrane, insulation and associated metal flashings and copings. prep existing sloped metal roof deck for new roofing system. replace existing skylight units. install new fully adhered single-ply membrane roofing system with r-38 rigid insulation. replace all sheetmetal copings and flashings. install new fall protection post system.
