Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of August 14, 2024, project has been awarded to American Asphalt of WI’s bid for $182,066.21. Town of Hazelhurst is requesting sealed bids for mill and paving 1 mile on Lower Kaubashine Road, and approximately 800 feet from West Kaubashine Road on Wildwood Drive. Pavement milled with an additional 2" of gravel. The Town of Hazelhurst is requesting sealed bids for crack sealing approximately 1.75 miles on Interlocken Road, ride control, crack fill, and chip seal. The work under this contract consists of furnishing and hauling crushed aggregate base course, pulverizing of the existing roadway, final grading and compacting of pulverized roadway, and hot mix asphalt. The work shall be executed under the requirements of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Edition of 1996, and according to the current year State of Wisconsin supplemental specifications and the special provision specifications attached.
