Site work and paving for a civil project in Merton, Wisconsin. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
As of August 5, 2024 project will not be awarded. No definite date for the rebid. Project involves the reshaping and grading of existing ditches, grading of a new ditch, replacement of 3 culverts, the installation of 8-inch PVC buried roof drain sewers and associated pavement repairs and lawn restoration. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of the Village of Merton, and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Merton reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to the Village of Merton equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to the Village of Merton as liquidated damages.
