Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Merton equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Merton as liquidated damages.
