As of July 26, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. 1. Minimal selective demolition of asphaltic paving as indicated. 2. Construction of one 9,645 sq.ft. single story, pre-engineered metal building subdivided into 8 nested-T hangar units and two support spaces. Exterior walls and roof to be pre-finished corrugated metal panels. Each hangar unit will have a motor-operated vertical bi-fold door with integral swinging man door. 3. The Additive Alternate accounts for the addition of two additional hangar spaces for a total building area to be constructed of 11,550 sq. ft. single story, pre-engineered metal building subdivided into 10-nested-T hangar units and two support spaces. Each hangar unit will have a motor-operated vertical bi-fold door with integral swinging man door. 4. Sitework includes new concrete apron surfaces abutting the building and new electrical. 5. Removal of debris and turning over to the Owner a complete operating facility. 6. Construction and connecting of utilities and paying of fees, permits, and inspection of services in these connections. 7. Grading (rough and finish) and earthwork related to the building foundation. 8. Top soiling, fertilizing, seeding and mulching of areas affected by construction activities. 9. Work included in paragraphs included herewith and in any section of specifications shall not in any way limit responsibility of Contractor to perform all work and furnish all materials required by the contract documents. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Time of Construction: Ninety (90) Calendar Days; Liquidated Damages: $500/Calendar Day; DBE Goal: 10.26% Question Deadline 06/15/2024 Submit questions for the project 72 hours prior to bid opening The Vicksburg Tallulah District Airport Board, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award. All Bidders and Proposers shall comply with the provisions of Buy American Preferences, Davis Bacon Requirements, Debarment and Suspension, Lobbying Federal Employees, and Recovered Materials Bids may be held by the Vicksburg Tallulah District Airport Board for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date and hour set for the opening. An acceptable bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the Vicksburg Tallulah District Airport Board, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. Bidders are advised that Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, will be required. The Vicksburg Tallulah District Airport Board reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for just cause and reserves the right to waive any and all informalities.
