Energy Savings Improvement Program at the Main Jail Building and Jail Annex Building The project consists of Installation of Central Plant Upgrades at the Atlantic County Justice Facility Main Jail Building and Jail Annex Building, located at Block no. 994 and Lot no. 58.02, 5060 Atlantic Avenue, Mays Landing, New Jersey, as indicated on the Engineers Drawings and Technical Specifications, and the general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and other Division One Specification Sections. The Project will be constructed under a single Prime Contracting arrangement Location: Atlantic County Justice Facility Main Jail Building and the Atlantic County Justice Facility Jail Annex Building Question Deadline 06/17/2024 at 12:00 PM ET All work timelines are exclusive of Weekends & Holidays. All work to begin within 10 (ten) working days from Notice to Proceed. This project must be completed ASAP & within the County approved Construction Schedule. The Substantial Completion Date shall be Four Hundred and Eighty (480) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Base Bid project. The Final Completion Date shall be Five Hundred and Ten (510) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Base Bid project Liquidated Damages for work not completed within the approved schedule shall be assessed in the amount of $ 500.00 (Five Hundred Dollars) per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond must be not less than ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid, except that no check or bid bond shall be for more than $20,000.00 and made payable to the Atlantic County Treasurer which the undersigned agrees is to be forfeited as liquidated damages and not a penalty if the Contract is awarded to the undersigned and the undersigned shall fail to execute the Contract for the project or furnish the required bond.
