THIS SOLICITATION IS A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE UNDER FAR PART 13 - SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION FOR THIS PROJECT IS LESS THAN $25,000. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 4TH AT 9:00 AM EST AT THE PHILPOTT LAKE VISITOR ASSISTANCE CENTER, 1058 PHILPOTT DAM ROAD, BASSESTT, VIRGINIA 24055. Description of Requirement: The objective of this project is to provide the supplies and labor needed to replace 2 HVAC units and remove the existing HVAC units. Evaluation and Award: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award shall be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Each offeror must submit both a PRICE QUOTE and a TECHNICAL PROPOSAL via EMAIL to benjamin.t.rickman@usace.army.mil and jenifer.m.garland@usace.army.mil. No hard paper copies will be accepted or evaluated. Both the Price Quote and the Technical Proposal must be received by the closing date and time set for receipt of quotes. In an effort to reduce paperwork and reduce cost, all quotes shall be submitted electronically. All submissions shall be in Adobe PDF format and shall be on 8 1/2 x 11 size pages in no less than a 10 pitch or 10 font. Offerors may use compressions utility software such as WinZip or PKZip to reduce file size and facilitate transmission. If an electronic submission is uploaded minutes before the deadline but the upload or transmission doesn't complete until after the deadline, the submission will be considered late.
