The intent of this Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is to accept Proposals from qualified engineering firms (the "Proponent") to provide engineering services pursuant to a three (3) year Standing Offer Agreement as described in Schedule "B" (the "SOA"). The Town wishes to enter into the SOA to draw upon industry expertise to review, analyze and prepare recommendations, provide quality customer services, effective delivery of projects, consistent and reliable engineering services, refined budgets and supporting documentation and drawings. The successful consultant will be expected to become familiar with the Coalhurst's policies/procedures, organizational structure, and operating/software systems. In addition, the consulting firm will become familiar with Coalhurst's master plans and strategies. The engineer/consultant will be available on an on-call basis to address any engineering/consulting requirements that the Town of Coalhurst may have throughout the term of the Standing Offer Agreement. Of key concern, is the Consultant's ability to provide innovative, cost effective and flexible solutions that meet the needs of the present and builds on meeting the future needs of the community.
