Spokane County seeks the services of consultants with expertise in Environmental Engineering. Some of the funding for these projects is from Federal sources. The County makes no guarantee regarding the ultimate value of the work to be performed. The following are Federal Aid projects with a project description and tasks which may be required for each project: Federal Funding Projects: Gordon Road Bridge No. 1506 Replacement Colbert Road Bridge No. 3703 Replacement CRP3329 - Bruce Road and Peone Road Roundabout CRP3330 - Hastings Road and Graves Road Safety Projects The following are specific tasks that may be required: Environmental Engineering Consultant Services include all phases and disciplines normally and customarily associated with an Engineering firm having extensive knowledge and experience with wetland delineation/stream assessment, and mitigation, biological assessment, habitat management plans, plant & mitigation monitoring, air quality/hot spot analysis, environmental justice evaluations, erosion and sediment control design and monitoring, NEPA/SEPA documents, national pollution discharge elimination system permitting, working with local and/or state agencies developing plans and applying for necessary wetland/stream project approvals, surface and groundwater quantity and quality analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, hazardous material site evaluation, other local, state and federal permits, plus miscellaneous related tasks such as contract administration and project management. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
