As of July 30,2024, project was awarded to DC Elevator, but awarded amount is not available. The Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government ("Metro Government") is now accepting Proposals for Elevator Renovation Old Jail at 514 West Liberty. The process of accepting Proposals and choosing the successful proposer shall be by sealed Requests for Proposals ("RFP's") using the competitive negotiation process under KRS 45A.370. The Metro Government, if it chooses to award a contract based on this Proposal, shall do so on the basis of the Proposal which is most advantageous to it based upon the Evaluation Criteria set forth herein. (KRS 45A.370(5)). Louisville Metro Government is seeking to award a contract for the renovation of two (2) hydraulic elevators in the Old Jail Building located at 514 West Liberty Street, Louisville, KY. The Metro Government shall conduct written or oral discussions with all responsible proposers who submit Proposals determined in writing to be reasonably susceptible of being selected for award, except as otherwise provided by law. Where the Metro Government can clearly demonstrate and document from the existence of adequate competition or accurate prior cost experience with the particular supply, service or construction item, the Metro Government may make an award on the basis of the original submitted Proposals.
