The areas of construction for this Bid are outlined below: 1.OFFSITE PUBLIC STREET IMPROVEMENT, NORTH RIVER ROAD WIDENING AT VANDEGRIFT (TRA-1) Perform demolition and removals to add RIGHT turn lane at northbound North River Road at Vandegrift Boulevard, install additional traffic control improvements and install signing and striping per plans by Hunsaker & Associates and approved by the City of Oceanside 02/12/24. Under EXHIBIT "J" is an APPROVED City of Oceanside Right-of-Way Permit 05/06/24 to mobilize and start improvements at this site. Also a FINAL DRAFT North County Transit District (NCTD) Right-of-Way, Work Plan to address the RIGHT turn lane at North River Road at Vandegrift Boulevard. 2.OFFSITE PUBLIC SEWER IMPROVEMENT, LEON STREET TRAFFIC SIGNAL (TRA-2) Within the same trench alignment of approximately +-895 linear feet, remove the existing, 18-inch PVC sewer, and replace with new, 24-inch PVC sewer; in separate trench alignments remove existing, 15-inch PVC sewer of approximately +-1,397 linear feet, and replace with new, 24-inch PVC sewer of approximately +-1,250 linear feet and new, 18-inch PVC sewer of approximately +-158 linearfeet; and install a new traffic signal at the intersection at North River Road and Leon Street per plans by Hunsaker &Associates and approved by the City of Oceanside 02/12/24. 3.OFFSITE PUBLIC STREET IMPROVEMENT, NORTH RIVER ROAD TURN POCKET (TRA-4) Perform demolition and removals to lengthen a LEFT turn lane at southbound North River Road towards College Boulevard; install new concrete curb; grind and overlay asphalt paving; and install signing and striping per plans by Hunsaker & Associates and approved by the City of Oceanside 02/12/24. 4.STRIPING NORTH CIRCLE TO STALLION DRIVE (TRA-7) Install signing and striping along North River Road between North River Circle on the west, and Stallion Drive on the east per plans by Hunsaker & Associates and approvedby the City of Oceanside 02/12/24. 5.OFFSITE IMPROVEMENTS FOR SLEEPING INDIAN & NORTH RIVER ROAD (TRA-9) Perform removals of existing storm drain features and fencing; relocate utility poles and domestic water appurtenances; grade and install newstorm drain improvements - rock with shot-crete and headwall structure; install new turn pocket and travel lane; install guard rails and posts; grind and overlay asphalt paving; and install signing and striping per plans by Hunsaker & Associates dated 04/11/24.
