Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.
The project will construct a new building approximately 1,200 GSF in size to support the women's tennis team. The new building will include public restrooms, a team locker room, team restroom, utility room, and flex space for use by coaches and Athletics staff. The building has been designed to be constructed off site as a finished pre-cast concrete structure to be shipped and erected on site. Add alternates will be considered to include on street parallel parking, new pedestrian sidewalks, landscaping and relocation of the existing storage shed. The project schedule/duration information was provided in the Request for Statement of Qualifications and has changed as follows: Planned construction start is October 1, 2024 Liquidated Damages of Five Hundred Dollars and 00/100 ($500.00) per calendar day shall be assessed if the Contractor fails to achieve Substantial Completion or causes delay to the Substantial Completion of any portion of the work within the Contract Time.
