Renovation of an educational facility in Kingston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of the replacement of rooftop unit 4 and associated work. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Work Included: 1. Demolition and removal of selected site elements and as required for new work. Refer to the Drawings for additional requirements. 2. Salvage of existing items to be reused or turned over to the facility. 3. Removal and legal disposal of demolished materials off site. Except those items specifically designated to be relocated, reused, or turned over to the facility, all existing removed materials, items, trash, and debris shall become property of the Contractor and shall be completely removed from the site and legally disposed of at her/his expense. Salvage value belongs to the Contractor. On-site sale of materials is not permitted. 4. Demolition and removal work shall properly prepare for alteration work and new construction to be provided under the Contract. 5. Scheduling and sequencing operations without interrupting utilities serving occupied areas. If interruption is required, obtain written permission from the utility company and the Owner. Schedule interruption when the least amount of inconvenience will result.
