The Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to, on call and emergency services for regular maintenance/repair(s) for HVAC systems located in the town and school buildings along with scheduled inspections, installations and necessary and incidental appurtenances to complete the work. This bid is being issued as a one-year contract with two one-year options to renew solely based on the Town's recommendations. Estimated value of services is $300,000.00 per year. Each bid shall also be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified, treasurer's, or cashier's check, in the amount of 5 percent of the value of the first years estimated contract value of $300,000.00 Wage rates for this project are subject to the minimum wage rates per M.G.L., Ch. 149, and Sections 26 to 27G, inclusive. Successful bidder must furnish payment and performance bonds with a surety company acceptable to the Town. The Town of Stoughton reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if it be in the towns best interest to do so.
