Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shelby, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project includes work at the intersection of Montana Avenue and Front Street in Shelby Montana. The base bid includes removal of ~15,000 SF asphalt pavement, installation of ~15,000 square feet of ~8-inch thick concrete pavement, ~500 CY crushed base course, 250 SF new sidewalk, 50 LF curb and gutter, and pavement markings. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Shelby in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The project shall be substantially complete by July 15, 2024.
