Oakleaf Lane Storm water Improvement Project (Location 2). The work to be performed shall include the installation of approximately 528 linear feet of centrifugally cast concrete pipe (CCCP) liner in the existing 42" corrugated metal pipe (CMP), and the lining of associated structures within the system. The structures include four double wing catch basins. The project site is located within Douglas County. Plans for the Project have been prepared by Rindt, Inc., Jason Cousineau, PE, dated 02/09/2024. Special Conditions and Appendices contain more detailed information on the Project scope. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be "turn key" and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. Question Deadline Jun 19, 2024 All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right of way. All anticipated rights of way and easements required for the Project have been obtained. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained. All bids must be accompanied by adequate bid security (certified check, bid bond, or irrevocable letter of credit) drawn in favor of the Authority and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, which shall be subject to forfeiture as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to promptly enter into the proposed contract for performance of the Project with the Authority. Award may be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder; however, the Authority reserves the right to reject all bids or any bid that is nonresponsive or submitted by a non responsible bidder. The Authority further reserves the right to waive technicalities and informalities in the Invitation for Bids and bids submitted.
