Construction of, 7" concrete pavement, variable thickness asphaltic concrete pavement, variable thickness concrete, 6" concrete base, concrete trafic islands, 7" concrete driveways, concrete curb and gutter, 5" concrete walks, pavement, handicap concrete ada ramps per ada requirements, construction staking of ada ramps, detectable warning fields, pavement grinding, sealing pavement joints and cracks, gravel filling, installation of conduit and other appurtenance underground work concrete removals, pavement markings, signage installation, sewer work, water work, tree clearing & grubbing, cuc adjustments, etc.; Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. For those bids being submitted through electronically and using a manual Bond, the contractor may send a signed/executed copy of the bid bond to the Department of Public Works Contract Office by emailing DPWbids@milwaukee.gov. No work in the public right-of-way will be permitted to occur during the Republican National Convention (RNC) from July 14, 2024 through July 20, 2024. All excavations must be temporarily restored or covered with a steel plate to allow through traffic or ADA compliant pedestrian access (Permits could be denied based on coordination with the Secret Service prior to July 14, 2024). All work on this contract shall be completed by November 15, 2024. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $1000.00/Day The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid.
