Replace theater stage lighting and controls. Work shall be completed on or before August 1, 2025. Each individual bid shall be accompanied by a surety company issued Bid Bond or by a Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the Washoe County School District, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, said amount to be forfeited to WCSD, should the Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into the Contract in accordance with the Contractor's bid and any other contract documents and furnish the required bonds within ten (10) days after the delivery of notice of such award. Addendums will be distributed by WCSD accordingly and can also be accessed via the WCSD Public Works website at electronically. Contractor must agree that Owner may retain from the monies due the Contractor One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) per day (Liquidated Damages) as a direct result of the Contractor's delay or for not completing the project in the required time allowance plus approved time extensions. Contractor is requested to visit the project site, compare the Drawings and Specifications with any work in place, and be informed of all conditions, including the work, if any, being performed. Failure to visit the project site will in no way relieve the Contractor from necessity of furnishing any materials or performing any work in accordance with Drawings and Specifications that may be required to complete the work without additional cost to the Owner. The Contractor shall call the project site and make arrangements for a time to visit. To review the existing premises, contact the Principal and/or Site Facilities Coordinator at the site(s). Whenever at the site, be sure to check in at the Front Office. The right is reserved by WCSD to reject any and all bids or accept the bid, which is deemed by WCSD to be in the best interest of the school district.
