The University of West Alabama is accepting sealed bids for LED Lighting Upgrade for Tiger Stadium on the University of West Alabama campus. -Please bid on replacing existing HID luminaires with LED luminaires at Tiger Stadium on the University ofWest Alabama campus, providing all labor and materials; as per the attached specifications. -The purpose ofthese specifications is to define the lighting system performance and design standards for the University of West Alabama Football Retrofit using an LED Lighting source A Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Goal-Lighting Design Upgrade - Upgrade light levels and uniformity on the field by replacing existing HID luminaires with LED luminaires, and by decreasing the number of luminaires to maximize the potential of existing structural and electrical equipment. Guaranteed Light Levels: Selection of appropriate light levels impact the safety of the players and the enjoyment ofspectators. Therefore light levels are guaranteed to not drop below specified target values for a period of 10 years. Environmental Light Control: It is the primary goal ofthis project to minimize spill light to adjoining properties and glare to the players, spectators and neighbors. Cost ofOwnership: In order to reduce the operating budget, the preferred lighting system shall be energy efficient and cost effective to operate. All maintenance costs shall be eliminated for the duration ofthe warranty.
